What You Need to Qualify for Hospice Care

To be eligible for hospice, a patient must receive a prognosis of less than six months for a life-limiting illness, with curative medical treatment discontinued. Hospice Care of VNA services can be initiated any time after that point and extended by a physician as needed.

Hospice care provides a range of care options and support from our experienced multidisciplinary care team. In addition to patient care and support, Hospice Care of VNA includes assistance for family members and loved ones such as bereavement services and caregiver respite and education.
